The story of beer brewing in Baltimore is the story of the city itself. Our brewing history can tell us when immigrants were coming over and charts the dominance of large beer companies in our country.
Filmmaker Nick Kovacic has crafted the story of beer brewing in the city, past and present, into a documentary that will screen at MICA’s Brown Center tomorrow night. It’s called “Brewmore Baltimore”. Nathan Sterner spoke with him about it recently.
The film will screen at MICA’s Brown Center tomorrow night. The evening will include tastings of Baltimore beers. Doors open at 6, the film begins at 7:45. Advance tickets are sold-out, but there will be 10 tickets available at the door. Find out more here.
