Chef John Shields is a chef and the proprietor, along with John Gilligan of the great Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchenat the BMA. He is the author of several cookbooks, the latest of which is The New Chesapeake Kitchen. Chef David Thomas is executive chef and co-owner with his wife, Tonya, of the terrific modern day soul food restaurant, Ida B’s Table They are both here in Studio A.
