A Winter Weather Advisoryremains in effect through 10am, with snowfall possible through the morning. Total snow accumulations remain well below what's being seen farther up the East Coast. But the snow is enough to prompt some schedule changes.

Public schools are closed today in: Caroline County, Carroll County, Frederick County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Talbot County, and Washington County.

Public schools are on a two-hour delay in: Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Cecil County, and Harford County.

And public schools are on a one-hour delay in: Kent County.

DC offices of the federal government are on a 2 hour delay, with the option for unscheduled leave or telework. 

Many commuter buses are on a 2 hour delay. There are some diversions for local MTA buses because of the snow. And some MARC trains are departing late as well.Be sure to check the status of your preferred form of public transportation before you leave home today.
