Own The "Sleepless" House In Fells Point (BBJ Story)

The Baltimore Business Journal

Here's your chance to own a slice of rom-com history. A Fells Point building used as the exterior of Meg Ryan's house in the classic 1993 film "Sleepless in Seattle" is for up for sale.

A brochure from realtor Blue & Obrecht lists the 1,995-square-foot property near Broadway Pier for $575,000. The three-story, waterfront brick building has most recently been used as offices for Captel, a political fundraising firm, but could be converted to residential use, said Realtor J.C. Beese. Captel plans to consolidate its operations into offices in Washington, D.C., and Wyoming and will vacate the Baltimore building once it's sold. The property at 904 S. Broadway is best known for its brief appearance in "Sleepless in Seattle," where it was used for exterior shots of the house where Baltimore Sun journalist Annie Reed, played by Ryan, lives.
