David Simon On In His New HBO Series, Show Me A Hero

For most of his careerDavid Simonhas been digging into the most pressing urban issues we face: race, inequality, crime, and policing. He spent years as aBaltimore Sun reporter, and created both The Wire and Tremé, his HBO series about New Orleans after Katrina.

Now he brings us an HBO miniseries about a racial divide in housing called Show Me a Hero. It takes place in the 1980s in the working-class town of Yonkers, north of New York City. David Simon joins Sheilah in the studio.
