Baltimore's first snowstorm of 2015 is upon us -- and prompting schedule changes at some of the region's schools.

Schools are now CLOSED in: Baltimore County, Carroll County, Cecil County, Frederick County, Harford County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County,and Washington County. 

Federal agencies in the Washington, DC area are open with the option for Unscheduled Leave or Unscheduled Telework.

The National Weather Servicehas issued a Winter Weather Advisory through 1pm.

As of 8:44am, the NWS expects up to 4 inches of snowfall in parts of Maryland; Baltimore's likely to get 2 to 3 inches, with 1 to 2 inches likely in northen Washington, Frederick, and Carroll counties. The heaviest snowfall is likely this morning -- although lingering snow showers are possible this afternoon.
