Baltimore City Health Commissioner Dr. Leana Wen is back for her monthly Healthwatch visit to give a status report on the health of Charm City residents.
Then, three activists discuss their efforts to get more people involved in the electoral process. In the last Mayoral election, in 2011, almost 90 percent of people who could have voted, didn’t. There are tens of thousands of people who are eligible to vote next month, but many aren’t registered. Rob English from BUILD, Nike Robinson from Black Girls Vote, and Ethan Griffin from Bmore Votes talk about their efforts to get people to the polls.
