Clifton Park Testing Site Opens (BBJ Story)

The Baltimore Business Journal

Baltimore has introduced another community Covid-19 testing site — its second this week and third since the pandemic began — this time at Clifton Park.

The site is located at 2801 St. Lo Drive, in the middle of the sprawling, 267-acre park that Johns Hopkins once called home. The Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management, the Maryland Department of Health and the Maryland National Guard collaborated to open the facility. The city has already introduced a drive-up testing location at Pimlico Race Course in Northwest Baltimore and, as of Tuesday, a walk-up and drive-up site at the Rawlings Conservatory in Druid Hill Park. Like the Druid Hill Park location, the Clifton Park facility will offer walk-up access for those without access to a vehicle. All locations still require an appointment and physician’s referral to receive a test for the novel coronavirus.
