Cybersecurity Grows At Port Covington (BBJ Story)

The Baltimore Business Journal

Three Maryland companies are relocating to Port Covington, part of a plan to create one of the country's top cybersecurity hubs at the 235-acre waterfront development. Fulton-based cyber incubator DataTribe and Silicon Valley-born cyber investment firm AllegisCyber have both committed to moving to the South Baltimore project as it begins to take shape.

They hope to help establish Baltimore as a global destination for technology and cybersecurity companies — "Cyber Town USA." Evergreen Advisors, a Columbia investment banking firm that works with emerging growth and middle-market companies, will also relocate to Port Covington. One top cyber executive says dozens more tech tenants could be on the way.  A cyber leader said about 25 to 30 other firms and organizations have said they're planning to make the move to Cyber Town and Port Covington.
