Dmitry Valuev, a pro-democracy activist, is one of the thousands of Russians living in the United States who actively oppose their country’s invasion of Ukraine.
Valuev moved here as a student 11 years ago and is now a regional coordinator in Virginia for the group Russian America for Democracy in Russia. He describes his and other Russians’ efforts to support Ukrainians at home and abroad.
