Throngs of voters showed at Maryland polling places and for the most part seemed to endorse the status quo. They kept Republican Larry Hogan in office … the incumbent Democratic attorney general and comptroller … the incumbent members of Congress, except for the newcomer in Western Maryland … and enough Democrats in the state Senate that Hogan will still have to worry about having his vetoes overridden.
