Mental Health & Work

In the wake of revelations about the pilot of the Germanwings jetliner that crashed in the French Alps, Baltimore psychiatrist Mark Komrad talks about mental illness and the working life, entering the debate about whether people treated for psychological disorders, including depression, should be precluded from certain occupations. Also: media reporting on high-profile cases involving mental health and doctor responsibility in reporting impaired patients to employers. Dr. Komrad is the author of "You Need Help: A Step-by-Step Plan to Convince a Loved One to Get Counseling."
