Hogan Call on Both Sides To Work Together (BBJ Story)

The Baltimore Business Journal

Larry Hogan called on Democrats and Republicans to work together and not go down the same path as their counterparts in Washington, D.C. after taking the oath of office for his second term as governor of Maryland.

Hogan, the second Republican to ever be re-elected as governor in Maryland and the first since the 1950s, spoke from a stage set up on the northwest lawn of the State House in Annapolis. He said Maryland set an example for the rest of the country under his first term and asked his "partners" in the majority-Democrat General Assembly to continue working with him to implement "bipartisan common-sense solutions" to the challenges facing the state.
