As the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher was born into the spotlight. At the age of 19, she became a cultural icon when she starred as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy. She also struggled famously with addiction and mental illness while she developed into an acclaimed writer. Now, Carrie Fisher pieces together the fragments of her life in a one-woman show, “Wishful Drinking,” currently playing at the Hippodrome Theatre.
