Putting Skin In The Game: A Rundown Of 2013 Super Bowl Bets

With the Super Bowl a mere three days away, betting is in full swing. But, the most high-profile bets aren't for cash. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has won two bets this post-season, one against Denver Mayor Michael Hancock and one against Boston Mayor Tom Menino. Here's Mayor Hancock paying off part of his bet to Mayor Rawlings-Blake:
Mayor Rawlings-Blake and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee are expected to announce their bet on the Today Show Friday morning. Here's a run-down of who's betting what on Sunday's Super Bowl:
U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen (MD) vs. Rep. Mike Thompson (CA)
On the line: Baltimore crab cakes, California wine
Flying Dog Brewery (MD) vs. Anchor Steam (CA)
On the line: The losing brewery has to pour the other's beer in their taproom for a week.
Attman's Deli in Baltimore vs. Miller's East Coast Delicatessen
On the line: $500 to the charity of their choice
The Maryland Zoo vs. The San Francisco Zoological Gardens
On the line: One-month naming rights to a zoo enclosure
Maryland Public Television vs. San Francisco’s KQED
On the line: Crab cakes and Berger cookies, Ghirardelli chocolate and sourdough bread
