Days after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, a terrified nation was shocked again by a handful of anonymous letters laced with deadly anthrax. Five people died. Seventeen were sickened or injured; tens of millions were frightened. In a new book on the anthrax scare, Pulitzer Prize winner David Willman says the trauma boosted passage of the Patriot Act -- and gave the government vast new powers to spy on us. The Bush administration also used it to drum up support for war on Iraq. The FBI spent four years chasing the wrong man, while Congress lavished millions on new bioterrorism labs. David Willman profiles the ultimate suspect, a top Army scientist named Bruce Ivins, who committed suicide in his new book The Mirage Man: Bruce Ivins, the Anthrax Attacks, and America's Rush to War. And he argues that we still haven’t learned our lessons from the tragedy.

why did you not post my comment yesterday regarding David Willman and the anthrax case?
Evidence disclosed AFTER Willman wrote his book
Unfortunately, David Willman wrote his book BEFORE much of the evidence the FBI had withheld for years was finally released. NOTE: there is much more important information still being withheld.
Perhaps you could ask Mr. Willman about the evidence disclosed AFTER he completed his book. Does he intend to make any revisions? Please let me know the questions and the answers.

The conclusion of the CASE CLOSED blog: the FBI has not made the case against Dr. Ivins: no physical evidence, no witnesses, an impossible time line, and science that goes more to innocence than guilt. The bottom line ... IT WASN'T IVINS !!!
