Local country musician Arty Hill is known for his 'modern honky tonk' style and is a fan of Mercer. Hill has organized a tribute to Mercer called "Arty Hill Presents Blues in the Night." The event is Feb. 8 at the Creative Alliance in Baltimore. Actress and singer Mink Stole and jazz singer Felicia Carter will sing some of Mercer's classics.

Mink Stole and guitarist Michael Raitzyk give Tom a preview of a couple of songs in the studio.
