Immigration

Hi Dan,

I am all for immigrants coming to the United States and pursuing a better life for themselves and their families. I understand that is what this country was founded on but we have a process, perhaps it’s not the most efficient and yes it takes a while but it is there for a reason. The immigrants that come here illegally are criminals. They do not respect our laws. If they did they would have come here legally. I understand that their children did not have a say in the matter but that is the consequence of their decision. I do not support the American Dream Act and I do support the immigration laws in Arizona. If you did not respect the laws of the land you should not be here. Why should we reward people for being criminals? President Obama is strictly out to win votes at this point and has no regard for the struggles of those of us who are American Citizens. We should be his top priority and instead he is concerned about getting legislation on the books about illegal immigrants. It makes no sense to me! I would have preferred that he used his “executive order” to legalize gay marriage. At least that would have assisted citizens of this country!
