Thirty years ago today, President Ronald Reagan came within five minutes and one inch of being the fifth U.S. president to be assassinated. That’s much closer than anyone but his doctors and closest associates knew at the time. Our guests this hour are Del Quentin Wilber, author of “Rawhide Down: The Near Assassination of Ronald Reagan” and Dr. David Gens, now a leading Baltimore trauma surgeon, who then treated Reagan.
