Access to solid financial services is difficult for many Marylanders as they continue to struggle from the Great Recession or have never had opportunity in the first place, due to lack of information and financial constraints. As Tax Day approaches, Midday provides a sneak peak of Money Power Day, a free financial fair this Saturday at Poly-Western High School. Guests Fred Eikenberg, Business Relationship Manager, SECU, Deanna Booker, Consumer Credit Counseling of Maryland and Delaware, and Rob Bader, Tax Operations Director for the Baltimore CASH Campaign will give tips this hour on starting and growing a business, protecting your credit and dealing with tax issues.
