Will Maryland follow Illinois's lead and abolish the death penalty? Kirk Bloodsworth spent nearly nine years on Maryland's death row for murder before he was the first man to be exonerated by DNA evidence. Originally from Maryland, and now an advocate for DNA testing by law enforcement to resolve claims of wrongful convictions, he returns to testify before the Maryland House Judiciary Committee. Kirk Bloodsworth stops by our studios to talk about his experience and his cause.
