The Maryland Film Festival / WYPR Spotlight Series
The Maryland Film Festival WYPR Spotlight Series features screenings of films, followed by interviews with people involved with the film, or related to the movie's subject matter. Previous screenings have included Which Way Is The Front Line From Here? The Life And Time Of Tim Hetherington, a tribute to photojournalist Tim Hetherington, who was killed in Libya in 2011.
The screeningwas followed by a panel with photojournalist Harry Mattison, MICA faculty member and photographer Patrick Wright, and Maryland Film Festival Director Jed Dietz. It'll be moderated by our Maryland Morning's arts and culture editor, Tom Hall. That conversation will air on "Maryland Morning" on Monday, April 22nd, at 9:40.
You can learn more about the series at the Maryland Film Festival blog, and can listen to prior interviews below.
