How Well Do You Know Baltimore? Take This Test.
Lawrence Lanahan
If you know our series "The Lines Between Us," you know we love data maps. Our mapping partner, the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance, has a knockout map that taught us that we don't know Baltimore neighborhoods quite as well as we thought we did. It's called "Click That 'Hood."
Here's how it works: you see a map of Baltimore cut up into neighborhoods. The name of a neighborhood pops up, and you have to find it and click it. There's a stopwatch, so you can find out how long it takes you to fill out the whole map.
How well do you know Baltimore's neighborhoods? Take the 56-neighborhood test (there's a 20-neighborhood test for non-obsessives), and then post your time on our Facebook page.
Below are some pictures of Baltimore neighborhoods along with their place on the map. First, another portrait of the city...from Ogun featuring Phathead: "What You Know About Baltimore?"
