During last week’s State of the Union address, President Barack Obama called for the biggest expansion of early childhood education in decades. How would his proposal affect early childhood education in Maryland?
Joining Sheilah to talk about it is Rolf Grafwallner, Assistant State Superintendent for Early Childhood Development in the Maryland State Department of Education. And, Margaret Williams, executive director of the Maryland Family Network, which helps families in the state find early childhood education and childcare.
