Rum program 28 March 2012
Dear Cellar notes, Zavala rum is from Zacapa Guatemala, not trinada. HTH.
Karma de Drac
Al:
I'm the importer for the Karma de Drac wine from Montsant. Loved hearing the review! Just a few things I thought you might find interesting: -Karma de Drac translates to "Karma of the Dragon" and is a reference to an ancient Montsant legend explaining why Montsant is currently making some of Spain's best red wines - the wine is a 50/50 blend of Garnacha & Carignan (not a drop of Tempranillo) but it definitely has that nuanced young Rioja feel to it -Karma is produced in very limited quantities, only about 2,500 cases / vintage by one of Montsant's boutique wineries
Glad you enjoyed the wine!
