The Cone Sisters of Baltimore

This conversation originally aired on September 8, 2009.

Nancy Hirschland Ramage is professor emerita of humanities and arts at Ithaca College. She’s also the great-great-niece of Claribel and Etta Cone. Along with her mother Ellen Hirschland, she wrote a book released in 2008 about Baltimore’s storied art-collecting duo that’s part art history, part personal memory. It’s called The Cone Sisters of Baltimore: Collecting at Full Tilt. She joined Tom Hall from Ithaca to talk about it.
