The Olympics are over--but there are still world renowned athletes to watch. Next week in London, the Paralympics begin. They’re a series of international sporting events in which the competitors have physical disabilities.
Baltimore's own Jessica Long will be there, competing in all the swimming strokes. Missing her legs from the knee down, she’s already won medals in both the 2004 and 2008 Games, and is returning for more.
We spoke with Jessica last week before she left for Europe about how she became so adept in the pool--and her new career as a model for Ralph Lauren.
