The Contemporary American Theater Festival is running through July 29th in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, just across the border from Frederick County.  The plays include Barcelona, by Bess Wohl, In a Forest, Dark and Deep, by Neil LaBute, The Exceptionals, by Bob Clyman, Gidion's Knot, by Johanna Adams, and Captors, by Evan M. Weiner.

Here, our theater critic J. Wynn Rousuck reviews them all.  Thanks to Ernest Musser III for providing audio clips.

Just a reminder: you can catch Judy's 180-character reviews on Twitter -- she's @jrousuck.
