The 2012 William Kapell International Piano Competition and Festival is going on now in College Park at the University of Maryland. 24 pianists from around the world are competing.
Tom Hall talks with Jarl Hulbert, the Kapell Competition’s Administrator, and Santiago Rodgriguez, who's won the Kapell in the past, and is acting as a judge this year.
Many events are free to the public, and the remaining competition events are accessible with tickets.
