“You can never be overdressed or overeducated.”
So said playwright Oscar Wilde, a man known for his style with wingtips as well as words. Now, as recent graduates venture off to their job interviews, one hopes they’ve made good progress on the “education” part of Wilde’s prescription … and just need to get the “dress” part under control.
Purchasing suits and dress clothes can be a challenge. Sheilah talks about it with Zoey Washington. She’s CEO of the Baltimore-based company LITTLEbird, a fashion consulting company for the teen and tween demographic.
Zoey is also launching a program in the fall to help educate young people about the fashion industry. It's called the Fashion Collective -- you can learn more about it on her website.
