There's more to Baltimore beer than Boh.
Rob Kasper, a former reporter, columnist and editorial writer for the Baltimore Sun, has just published a new book that chronicles the tradition of beer brewing here in Baltimore. The book takes us from Mary Pickersgill sewing a famous flag on the floor of a brewery in 1813 to the explosion of micro-breweries that dot the local landscape today. The book is called Baltimore Beer: A Satisfying History of Charm City Brewing.
Here is a list of book signings and events Rob Kasper is involved in this month:
Tuesday, June 12 (tonight) at 7:00. Mahaffey’s Pub, 2607 Dillon Street, Baltimore. Talk and book signing with members of Cross Street Irregulars brew club. Open to the public.
