Secure Communities, a federal immigration program, is now active throughout Maryland. We talk with the Frederick County Sheriff about how it’s been working there, and an immigration analyst about how it works nationwide. How several new bills could help former convicts find jobs. It’s leap day! But two Johns Hopkins professors are suggesting we have a February 29th every year–it’s part of the new calendar they’re putting forth. Tom Hall talks with them about it.
