And next Thursday, the WYPR Maryland Film Festival Spotlight series will hold a screening of The House I Live In, a documentary exploring how U.S. drug policy affects individuals at each level of the system. After the screening, Tom Hall will interview special guest Kurt Schmoke, former Baltimore mayor and Vice President and General Counsel for Howard University. It'll be at on Thursday, December 13, at 7:00pm at the MICA Brown Center at 1301 W. Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore. It's $5 general admission--and free for Friends of the Festival. Please RSVP to tickets@mdfilmfest.com. You can learn more about the movie at the Maryland Film Festival blog.
The interview with Kurt Schmoke will be broadcast on WYPR on Friday, December 14th at 9:40.
