Original post:
"The action isn't the point. The point is the conversation" -J. Wynn Rousuck
This week, J. Wynn Rousuck reviews the comedy "What a Girl Wants" at the Strand Theater.
The play centers around a group of women preparing for a charity clothing sale. Rousuck says the women discuss "diets, shoes, sex, clothes, dating, sports and men" while unpacking boxes of clothing and placing the items on clothing racks.
While Rousuck says the comedic play features plenty of one-liners and a few minor conflicts, the play "isn't ready for prime time."
