Maryland was hit this week by fierce weather from both sides, with those on the Eastern Shore battling fierce winds and surging waters.  Meanwhile, those in western Maryland were dealing with strong winds and more than a foot of heavy, wet snow.  Tom Hall talks with Monty Pagenhardt, the Garrett County Administrator.

We also hear from the Eastern Shore, where the Army Corps of Engineers has been inspecting the coastline of Ocean City, to see how the beach held up against the rough winds and rains.  In the 1991, the Army Corps completed a plan for beach nourishment, meant to protect against the “100-year” storm. Baltimore District commander Colonel Trey Jordan was one of those out there yesterday inspecting the Beach Protection Project.  He talks with Tom about the condition of the coast.
