It has broad support in the City Council, as well as from the Mayor’s office, and the Health Department. But, some restaurant owners oppose the measure.

City Councilman Brandon Scott, who introduced the bill, and Mary Beth Haller, Assistant Commissioner in the Baltimore City Health Department’s Bureau of Environmental Health, joins us to talk about how the grading system might work.

You can find out more about the bill on the Baltimore City Council website.
