The Maryland General Assembly goes back to work today. We ask The Washington Post's John Wagner and The Capital Newspaper’s Pamela Wood .. what we can expect this year.
Then, starting Saturday, PBS will air a three-part documentary called The Abolitionists. It follows William Lloyd Garrison, Frederick Douglass, and other heroes of the movement. Goucher history professor Julie Roy Jeffrey tells us about the important—and, she says, forgotten—women who made the movement possible.
And--the audience brings the props. No one brings a script. Members of the Baltimore Improv Group are here to tell Tom Hall about their new play, "Unscripted." It premieres tomorrow at the Mobtown Theater.
