The flu season is pretty calm in Maryland right now.  But if it flares up, and hospital emergency rooms have to figure out how many flu patients to expect and how many doctors to have waiting for them – well, Google has answers just as reliable – and faster – than government data. We talk with the authors of new research from Johns Hopkins medical school.

Then – Two hundred years ago, the United States and Great Britain plunged back into war – less than three decades after wrapping up their LAST war.  Why? We ask Fells Point town crier Jack Trautwein.

And – The Ravens travel to New England this weekend to take on the Patriots for the AFC championship.  Sports journalist Mark Hyman previews the game with Tom Hall.
