Last week, Baltimore City inked a contract with a new group of organizers for the Baltimore Grand Prix. We’ll meet Felix Dawson and Dan Reck, two of the three partners behind Downforce Racing LLC.

And, St. Mary’s College of Maryland associate English professor Jeffrey Lamar Coleman organized his new anthology of civil rights poetry movement by events, from Emmett Till’s murder to Robert Kennedy’s assassination. He tells us what he learned collecting poems that were reacting to history in the making.
