Winter Weather, Elementary School Security, Foster Care, and Challenges To Speeding Tickets

You can expect a mix of wintry weather on Wednesday. The National Weather Service lists its most up-to-date forecasts and advisories here. State Highway Administration officials are urging motorists to slow down when they encounter the wintry mix.

Some Maryland lawmakers are looking into stepping up security at elementary schools following the shooting massacre in Connecticut earlier this month. Baltimore County Delegate John Cluster has proposed emergency legislation to place School Resource Officers in elementary schools across the state (via our wire service and WJZ).
