Wells Fargo takes Mobile Deposit nationwide

Wells Fargo & Co. is expanding its mobile-deposits program nationwide, allowing customers to make deposits using their smartphones, the Charlotte Business Journal reported.

With Wells Fargo Mobile Deposit, available through the bank's mobile-banking app, customers can use Android or Apple-supported devices to deposit checks into their eligible accounts with the bank by taking a picture of the front and back of the check.
