Weis Markets sets 90-day price freeze
Weis Markets, the grocery chain which operates stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia and New York, has launched a price freeze on more than 2,000 products for the next 90 days, the Baltimore Sun reported.
Available in all 163 Weis supermarkets on name brand and private label items, the discounts are part of the chain's 10th round of price freezes since 2009. The grocer says savings through the program have added up to $40 million.
