Weis Markets nears openings for stores in Towson, Woodlawn

Weis Markets Inc. is expanding in Greater Baltimore. The Sunbury, Pa., supermarket chain will open supermarkets next month in Towson and Woodlawn.

Both stores — a 55,476 square foot store at 1238 Putty Hill Ave. in the Towson Place shopping center and a 58,027 square foot store at 7005 Security Boulevard — are scheduled to open on March 3.

The store openings will bring to 16 the number of stores Weis has in Greater Baltimore.
