Washington Post plans pay wall, increases newsstand price
After resisting the idea of charging readers for access to online content, even as competitors moved in that direction, the Washington Post is likely to reverse that stance, according to reports from the Wall Street Journal and CNBC, the Washington Business Journal reported Thursday.
The Journal, citing people familiar with the discussions, said the Post will likely roll out next year a metered paywall that would allow casual readers to see a limited number of stories for free before being charged…
