University of Maryland wins $5.9M to study health disparities

University of Maryland, College Park has received a $5.9 million grant for researching health care disparities.

The university’s Center for Health Equity will use the grant to better understand how health disparities come about and find ways to address the problems. The grant was made from the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities
