Towson University to weigh cutting men's baseball, soccer programs
The head of Towson University’s athletics department is recommending the school cut its baseball and men’s soccer teams in an effort to save money and add scholarships to other programs.
Athletic director Mike Waddell said the elimination of the two sports will save the school $897,083 while keeping the Baltimore County school compliant with Title IX for women’s athletics.
