Top 20 biggest U.S. banks by assets see little change in 4Q
Nine banks with branches in the Baltimore area made SNL Financial’s latest ranking of the 50 largest banks in the U.S.
Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) was second in SNL’s list with $2.2 trillion in assets in fourth quarter 2012. The Charlotte, N.C.-based bank has the largest share of Greater Baltimore’s banking market. Nationally, it trails only New York’s JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) which has $2.3 trillion in assets.
