Three Baltimore-area firms receive VC funding in 4Q

Three companies in Greater Baltimore received venture capital funding in the fourth quarter, according to a national survey released Friday.

Gliknik, a Baltimore-based biopharmaceutical company, received $4.9 million in funding during quarter, the MoneyTree Report by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and the National Venture Capital Association showed. The report uses data compiled by Thomson Reuters.
