Tech jobs continue to outpace overall job growth
The number of information technology jobs, which has climbed steadily since late 2008, continued to outpace overall job growth in February.
IT jobs nationally rose 0.38 percent in February to nearly 4.4 million and are up 4.57 percent from a year ago, according to Alexandria, Va.-based trade group TechServe Alliance.
"As long as we don't experience a macroeconomic shock, I anticipate we will continue to set all-time records in IT employment throughout 2013," said TechServe Alliance CEO Mark Roberts.
