Sullivan: Legg Mason close to naming new CEO
It won’t be long until Legg Mason Inc. names its new CEO, the company’s interim chief said Friday.
Legg’s board of directors is nearing the completion of its search process, interim CEO Joseph A. Sullivan said on a conference call with stock analysts. He said it would be reasonable to expect an announcement “in the not-too-distant future.”
Sullivan’s comments came during a conference call in which he discussed the Baltimore asset manager’s quarterly earnings.
